Scott Hanson
Scott Hanson is an architectural historian, preservation consultant, and award-winning author who lives with his husband Andrew and four Maine Coon cats in the mid-coast region of Maine. He grew up in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and attended Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY, before settling on the Maine coast. He discovered his passion for historic buildings as a child, which led to several decades of hands-on building rehab work followed by nearly 20 years’ experience as a preservation professional.
